Sometime today (Thursday, August 18th), Brian and Co. will be making that left turn that brings them north. (That is to say, "north-ish", direct routes are not possible in Hoka Hey, but they will definately be on an indirectly northern route so we'll consider it the home stretch.)
Hopefully, they will make it to the check point sometime today. The 3 riders got about 4 hours of sleep in a field near New Orleans last night so they should have some energy, but we hear the weather is beastly hot and humid. This is just another good reason to head north!
State Count: 34 which includes Arkansas, Louisiana and just now, Florida.
