Two weeks, 2 hours since the start of the Hoka Hey Challenge...
Brian is in South Carolina, approximately 200 miles from the Rocky Mount, NC Check Point (#12). He is still travelling with Mike and Tom (they plan to stay together for the duration).
Once through Check Point #12, the riders will head to the Outer Banks and Kitty Hawk, cross back to the mainland on the Wright Memorial Bridge, then on to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. They will cover Maryland's eastern shore, Pennsylvania and New Jersey before Check Point #13 in Laconia, New Hampshire.
State count: 36. All we added since yesterday was Georgia and South Carolina. The black hole that was Florida was a time drain.
Meanwhile, Candy arrived in Sydney around 12:30 AM.
